Dr. Alexis J Johnson DVM
Associate Veterinarian Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Moab, Utah. Being the daughter of Dr. Sorensen she spent a large part of her childhood at the Moab Veterinary Clinic and cultivated a love of animals. Watching her father care for animals, Alexis gained a desire to follow his path and become a veterinarian herself. After graduating from Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, Dr. Johnson returned home and joined the Moab Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinarian. Currently Dr. Johnson lives with many cats, 3 dogs, 4 cockatiels, a bearded dragon, and an array of goats, and many, many chickens. She has a love for animals large and small, and daily expands her knowledge to best care for them. Though she does not specialize in a specific field, Alexis is fascinated with surgical procedures and is currently learning the techniques of bone plating. When not working in the clinic Dr. Johnson spends her time caring for her daughters (Born Feb 2015 and April 2018) and spending time with her sister who also lives in Moab. Alexis is family oriented and believes that our pets are a part of our family deserving quality care. |
