 Moab Veterinary Clinic

Utah and Grand County have lifted the mask mandate

If you live in Moab or the surrounding area and need a trusted veterinarian to care for your pets – look no further. Dr. Len Sorensen is a licensed Utah and Colorado veterinarian, treating all types of pets. Your pets’ health and well-being are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to give your animals the care they deserve.

Moab Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal hospital and welcomes both after hours emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Len Sorensen has years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our Moab veterinarians.

We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn about how to take better care of your pets. The best veterinary care for animals is ongoing nutrition and problem prevention, so becoming knowledgeable about preventative pet care is essential to the ongoing success of your animal’s health. If you have any questions, call 435-259-8710 or email us and we'll get back to you. Our Moab veterinarian office is very easy to get to -- and you can find directions on our Contact Us page! We are very excited to be offering reminder services and an online pet health care portal through Petly- ask us how to sign up! Be sure to check out the Pet Health Network app as well, giving you access to your pet's vaccinations (great for boarding) and texting for appointment requests and medication refills! We offer an online pharmacy and are partnered with Hills to Home, a service delivering your Hills Science Diet or Prescription Diet pet foods right to your door!

Please do not send short notice (less than 2 weeks) boarding inquiries or appointment requests to our email.
We just don't have enough staff to get to them in a timely manner and request that you give us a call instead. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we feel it's better to give us a ring than have a potentially unanswered email and nowhere for your pet to stay. We appreciate your understanding!  :) We also appreciate vaccinations for boarding being sent as far ahead of your boarding date as possible, so our staff have time to review it and enter into the system. This also gives you the opportunity to update any vaccinations or find records if your pet is found to not be up to date :)

Please call for appointments. While we do our best to accommodate walk ins, it's not always possible with the staff we have available (even for "quick" things). We only have one doctor working in the clinic and they can be out of the office on farm calls. If your pet needs veterinary care, please call us to see what our veterinarian's schedule is. We know many of you come from far away and we want to help you as best as possible and not have you drive out "for nothing" :)

At Moab Veterinary Clinic, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.
